As a result of high volume usage of Sculptra aesthetic, Dr Porcaro has been designated as a Gold level injector by the manufactuer.

Sculptra is used to replace lost volume of the face & works by stimulating your own body to produce collagen. Collagen is responsible for the youthfullness characteristics of skin but degrades as part of the aging process.

Dr Porcaro has performed hundreds of sculptra treatments since 2007 & is the only Gold level injector of The treasure Coast.

Dr Porcaro lectures at national meeting

By invitation of the American Society of Lipo-suction Surgery, Dr Porcaro was asked to present the topic: Liposuctions Specifics: Preparation, Marking, Positioning, Dressings & Post op Care of Liposuction Patients. This meeting took place in Las Vegas and was part of the annual meeting of The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery& was attended by ~700 physicians.

Dr Porcaro is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the highest designation of this prestigeous organization, with over 2,600 physician members.

“Circumferential” Tummy Tucks

In addition to the improvement in results, the addition of liposculpture to a tummy tuck can diminish the need for liposculpture as a separate procedure after the tummy tuck, lowering the costs and eliminating a second recovery!
Keep in mind that ALL Tummy Tuck procedures at Porcaro Cosmetic Surgery are performed in the comfort and safety of our AAAHC accredited facility under tumescent local anesthesia, with IV sedation as needed. NONE of our patients have had the need for general anesthesia! This improves the safety of the procedure, lessons the expense and speeds the recovery!

ALL of our tummy tuck patients are discharged to HOME several hours after their procedure without the inconvenience and without the added expense of staying in a hospital or the surgeon’s overnight suite for several days!

Although our cosmetic surgery facility has had certification form the State of Florida for several years, we voluntarily sought & received certification form a major national accrediting agency, the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) . This accreditation process is significantly more extensive than the State’s certifying requirements and is for the maximum time accreditation is rewarded, 3 yrs. This certification demonstrates the high standards, high level of safety and high patient satisfaction in the services provided at Porcaro Hair & Cosmetic Surgery.

In spite of the economic downturn, we are pleased to inform our cosmetic surgery patients that we have completed a build out into the vacant bay next door to our existing space that will double our office space to 5,000 sq ft. We have 2 additional hospital grade operating rooms, a recovery room, a conference room, additional consultation rooms & 2 ADA bathrooms to better serve your needs. The first case (a breast augmentation) went without a hitch (4/8/10)!

AACS membership tops 2,600!

It was announced at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery that membership now exceeds 2,600, making the AACS the largest organization devoted to the specialty of cosmetic surgery. Because of Dr Porcaro’s training and experience in cosmetic surgery he� hold the designation of “Fellow”, the highest designation in this prestigious organization!
